The spice of life - grown at home

The Herb & Sprout series brings you closer to Nature by cultivating your own spices, herbs and sprouts with no other additives than water and green fingers.

With the Herb & Sprout urban gardening series, you can cultivate your own spices and herbs at home on the kitchen table or on a sunny window sill

Herb pots

There is nothing like cooking with fresh herbs and spices, so why not cultivate them yourself at home on the kitchen table or on the window sill?

The accompanying watering can makes it easy to replenish the water. The can is designed to match the herb pots and its beautiful brass finish makes it a visual design element on its own.

Herb & Sprout also contains a pair of herb scissors that can hang on the edge of the herb pot so it is always at hand when you need to harvest herbs or spices.

Urban gardening

Urban gardening is a global society trend about cultivating locally and sustainably in the garden and in Nature in a city environment.
The designer duo Mavro/Lefèvre are the people behind the elegant and yet rigorous design that makes space for as much greenery and freshness as possible in a minimum of space. The herb pots come in two sizes and feature a beautifully integrated saucer. A number of wicks in the herb pot suck up water and ensure the right moisture balance in the earth. The groove on the side of the herb pot lets you keep an eye on the water level in the saucer.

Meet the designers behind Herb & Sprout!

Mette Mavro and Sofie Lefèvre founded Mavro//Lefèvre in 2015. The driving force in their collaboration stems from their untraditional backgrounds in the music industry and a Masters degree in Innovation Design Engineering. Curiosity, tireless energy and the ability to keep a sharp focus on details are powerful forces that drive the designer duo forward – as demonstrated by Herb & Sprout.
